Terms & Conditions

Who you're contracting with
Scrye is sold by BATHBLOOPS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17401627), registered office 8 Cleveland Road, Hale, Altrincham, England, WA15 8AY, trading as Bloop Software. References to "we," "us," and "our" below mean BATHBLOOPS LTD.
Agreement
By purchasing or using Scrye, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't purchase or use the app.
What you're buying
A one-time purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive license to install and use Scrye on up to two devices you own or control, for as long as you like. There's no subscription and no recurring charge. Your license key is personal to you — please don't share it; sharing a key beyond its two-device limit will result in activations being refused.
Payment and refunds
Scrye costs $39, charged once, in full, at purchase, processed by Stripe. If Scrye doesn't work as described, or you're unhappy with it for any reason, email hello@scrye.co.uk within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunds revoke the associated license key.
Not financial advice
Scrye is a calculator and record-keeping tool. It shows you figures based on data you enter and public market data it looks up — it does not recommend investments, does not know your full financial situation, and nothing it displays is financial, tax, or legal advice. Forecasts are projections based on historical and current data; they are not guarantees of future performance, and markets can and do underperform any forecast. Decisions you make based on Scrye's output are your own responsibility — consult a qualified professional for actual advice.
Your data is your responsibility
Because Scrye stores everything locally and deliberately keeps no copy on our servers, we cannot recover your data if you lose it — through a lost or damaged Mac, a botched migration, or anything else. Use the built-in export feature to keep your own backups.
No warranty
Scrye is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any calculation will be perfectly accurate for your circumstances.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Scrye, including financial decisions made using it, or data loss. Our total liability for any claim relating to Scrye is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, redistribute, resell, or attempt to circumvent the licensing system beyond the two-device allowance it already gives you.
Termination
We may revoke a license obtained fraudulently or through a reversed/disputed payment. Outside of that, your license doesn't expire.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
If these change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
